JACQUELINE MIKHLY, DMD
PEDIATRIC DENTIST
Dr. Jackie Mikhly is a board-certified pediatric dentist dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care for children of all ages. She is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), and she holds hospital privileges at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where she provides specialized dental treatment for young patients.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Mikhly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Honors from New York University, followed by her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from UMDNJ – now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She went on to complete a General Practice Residency and a Pediatric Dentistry Residency at Staten Island University Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident.
Outside the office, Dr. Mikhly enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the Jersey Shore, and finding
creative ways to make kids smile both in and out of the dental chair.
KRISTINA KEROLUS, DDS
PEDIATRIC DENTIST
Dr. Kristina Kerolus grew up in Staten Island, NY, and pursued an accelerated dental program, earning her B.S. in Biology from Adelphi University. She went on to receive her D.D.S. from New York University College of Dentistry in New York City. She completed a General Practice Residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ, followed by pediatric specialty training at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. When she’s not in the office, Dr. Kerolus enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking homemade treats, and going for peaceful walks outdoors.
STEPHEN BERCHIN, DDS
BOARD CERTIFIED PEDIATRIC DENTIST
Dr. Stephen Berchin grew up in Brooklyn, NY and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. He completed a General Practice Residency program at Harlem Hospital Center, and a 2-year pediatric specialty residency at Maimonides Medical Center. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Outside of work, you can find Dr. Berchin (or Dr. Stephen as his patients like to call him) enjoying his days with friends and family at the beach/pool or a kid-friendly activity with his wife and 2 kids.
AMY LIEDTKA, RDH
Amy is our full-time Registered Dental Hygienist here at Jackson Pediatric Dentistry. She graduated from Rowan College at Burlington County with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene and started her career in late 2017. After a few years she realized how much she love working with kids and became part of the JPD family in 2021. In her time away from work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two little girls. Whether it’s a trip to the boardwalk or a day snuggled up watching movies, Amy believes every moment is a gift!
KATIE WELLS, Front Office Manager
Katie started with Jackson Pediatric Dentistry back in July of 2016 when she was a Dental Assisting student seeking out an office for her X-ray clinical. After completing her X-ray clinical she came on as a full-time front-desk associate and quickly learned everything there was to learn about dental insurance & front-desk duties and decided the front office was more her style. It didn’t take long for her to prove her potential and become insurance coordinator/front office manager for the office. In her free time, you can find Katie spending time with her husband and two sons. She enjoys camping, hiking, tending to her garden, and running her photography business.
JEANETTE LUCKY, Back Office Manager
Jeanette is a seasoned Dental Assistant and Office Manager with over 20 years of experience in the dental field. She spent 15 years working in a general dental office before transitioning to pediatrics. Jackson Pediatric Dentistry was lucky to have her join our team in December of 2016! Jeanette loves training our new-hires to become great dental assistants. Outside of her professional life, she is a devoted mother of four children and proud grandmother to two grandchildren. Jeanette also loves hanging by her pool in the summertime, going out to dinner with her husband to their favorite restaurant, and taking vacations with her big family!
